The French manufacturer Chausson has made some improvements to it’s range of budget, mid-market and high end motorhomes for 2012 and there is a lot to look forward to from this clever manufacturer.
The Budget range (Flash) has 12 models and there will be 3 of these that will be new to the UK market in 2012. The Flash range is going away from over-cabs now on reduced demand.
The mid market range (Welcome) see no changes for 2012, so obviously people were happy with these models and the company felt no need to change a winning format. There are 5 mid market low profiles in this range, Chausson’s popular Suite range of island drop down bed low profile’s has one new addition and all of the other models within this range have been upgraded
The new Flash 10 is well worth looking at and we found this the most exciting of the new Chausson models with a pa compact, rear-washroom low-profile and a drop-down bed which goes over the lounge.
Chausson’s have looked closely at the layout and have given top billing to the washroom over the kitchen for the Flash 10, this makes the Flash pretty much “Flash” in the washroom department and it leaves other Chausson models in it’s wake in this area.
The entire Suite range has been given a major makeover that brings it more in line with modern houses with glossy contrast-colour furnishings and hard glass kitchen worktops making these the most trendy motorhome model that Chausson has to offer.
But saving the best to last is this year’s stand out feature and a must see – the new Easy Chef external hob, which is standard on all 2012 Suite ’vans. It’s a two-burner Domestic hob – exclusive to Chausson and looks the part, so all in all Chausson are keeping themselves ahead of the curve in 2012 and you should have a close look at what they have to offer at upcoming events in the UK.
All prices for this years models were announced at the NEC in October but for more information you can visit the Chausson motorhome website.
