A: No. The name given to a motorhome toilet is a “cassette toilet” which is very similar to your toilet at home, except that when you flush the motorhomes toilet the waste is moved to this “removable cassette” which can be reached easily from outside the rental motorhome. This has been done to make removing the waste easy – you then need to empty this cassette or removable tank if you prefer into a designated place within the campsite. A strong chemical solution must be added before you empty the contents of the cassette to stop any contamination. Full instruction on this matter will usually be provided by the motorhome hire company when you collect the vehicle.
