Driving to Brighton is pretty straight forward, depending on which part of the UK you are coming from you get onto the M25 orbital and continue around until you see signs for the M23 and Brighton
You come off at the junction for the M23 and head for Crawley and Brighton all the way until the end if the motorway, this changes to the A23 as you get closer to Brighton and you follow this road all the way in, you can then take the A259 along the coast if you fancy seeing the coastline in Brighton.
You might want to take something to cheer you up on the journey as the M25 has been voted as the most depressing road in the UK due to its traffic jams and boring views!
The city centre has several streets that restrict access caused by narrow roads/entrances and is a very busy place to drive a motorhome so we would advise you to use public transport instead and park on the outskirts of Brighton.
Parking in Brighton centre is not easy and can be expensive and parking vouchers are required to be displayed in your motorhomes window when you park up, if you do not display the voucher your motorhome could be clamped or even towed away.
On the whole Brighton is not a motorhome friendly place when it comes to parking a motorhome, if your motorhome is over 2.25 meters it will not be allowed in parking zones and off street car parks are restricted to only 2 metres in height. When you park a motorhome it must be inside the marked bay or you will get a parking ticket, the parking of motorhomes in off street car parks is not allowed (including bays).
There are no designated places where you can park overnight in Brighton and parking is restricted by the size and weight of the vehicle, if you are in any doubt you should contact the Council's website.
